Architecture
An architectural photographer requires an appreciation of structure, form and style in a visual context, as well as an understanding of light and how it influences the perception of a building or interior.
I always like to do a recce of a building before photographing it or if this isn’t possible, then make a second visit, if I feel a particular aspect of it could be better captured at another time of day. In order to achieve the best results, I utilise a variety of specialist equipment such as shift lenses to correct perspectives and location lighting to help balance interiors.
